Science: WALT describe the importance for humans of exercise.


Complete the next of The Oak National science lessons for our topic on animals, including humans. The link for this is below.


Then, if you like you can look at the powerpoint below by Joe Wicks, where he explains why exercise is important for humans.


Then complete Joe's workout from yesterday but write down the following things before, during and around 30 minutes after completing the session:


  • How does your skin feel (cold/cool/hot etc)?
  • What is your breathing like (slow/fast/shallow/deep)?
  • What colour is the skin on your face (usual/pale/red?)
  • Are you sweating (yes/no)?
  • When you put your hand on your heart and feel, what is your heart beat like (usual/slower/faster)?
  • How do you feel? Try and think of some adjectives to describe how you are feeling.
