Class News & Home Learning

Hello Reception Class and families, I hope you are well and staying safe at home.  It has been lovely to see some of the work you have been doing and thank you for sending me pictures via inbox@2buildaprofile.com or homelearning@blakedownprimary.worcs.sch.uk

Please keep sending them to me and I will reply to you as soon as possible, this will be a lovely way for us to stay in touch.

 EXCITING NEWS!!!

I hope you have received your access to Bug Club and are now able to read your books at home in an online version, you will have seen these in our phonics lessons.  Remember to look at the sounds and tricky words on the inside page before you start.  I can see that some of you have been enjoying these already.

A note for parents and carers

We understand that home learning must be tricky especially with the overwhelming amount of resources we can now access.  I am trying to pick those that are of a practical nature and cover all areas of the early year curriculum, these should be fun to do! As always practise of the key skills the children have already learnt is the most important (find these in the home learning section below).  

I have found this reward chart that I thought may be helpful to structure your days, the children could get involved choosing the activities and their reward. This might be a nice way to motivate the children (this can be found in the resources section of the home learning tab).
