Numeracy

We have finished our shape maths work for now and are moving on to multiplication and division. This can be a tricky topic so please let me know in your daily emails if there is anything you need more help with or feel that you need to spend more time on. I will use my knowledge about how previous classes have coped with this work and try and add additional resources to deliver the learning and support you.

This week, we are beginning by making sure that you have no gaps in your prior knowledge by recapping the Year 1 objectives which introduce you to multiplication.

26.1.2021

WALT make equal groups.

Watch the videos and then have a go at the worksheet.

Find some objects in your house and use these to make equal groups.

You can send me a picture of your objects in equal groups.

Remember, that equal means that your groups should have the same value.

They should have the same number of objects in each group.
