Tuesday 2nd March 2021.

I can write the beginning of my story.

Above you can see a picture of the beginning of Alice Melvin's story, 'The High Street.'

Today, I would like you to write the beginning of your story using your ideas from your plan.

The list of items that your character needs to buy won't be as long because we have only planned to use 5 shops.

This is my example using my ideas from my plan:

Joe's in the High Street and this is what he needs...

(Please note that here the apostrophe is showing that this is a contraction and is showing that letters are missing- Joe is, the High Street DOES NOT belong to Joe).

some holiday brochures, a piece of fish, his laundry, some sliced meat and some hair gel.

Now I would like you to write the opening of your story.
