This is our new book for the next two weeks work.
It is called 'The High Street,' and is by Alice Melvin.
Elicitation task:
Think about when you have visited Hagley or Kidderminster high street.
What shops can you think of that are on the high street?
Write a list of all the different shops that you can think of.
*butchers
*bakery
*sweet shop
*pet shop
*toy shop
*travel agents
*florist (flower shop)
*greengrocer
*hairdressers
*fish and chip shop
Imagine that you are going to go shopping on the high street.
Create a shopping list of things that you think could be bought from these shops.
Today's work is to send me your list of high street shops and your shopping lists.
