Homework & Spelling Tasks

Weekly homework in Class 4 consists of completing the following for Year 5: 

• One task from the homework grid provided 
• One Numeracy task provided weekly
• Spelling practice at home using your Read Write Inc. Spelling Log Book
• Reading with an adult on a daily basis 

And for Year 6:

• One Literacy/Reading task provided weekly 
• One Numeracy task provided weekly
• Spelling practice at home using your Read Write Inc. Spelling Log Book
• Reading with an adult on a daily basis 

It is extremely helpful when comments are made in reading records and homework books based on your child's achievements or difficulties. As always, if there are any problems with any homework tasks, please do not hesitate to ask for help and support. 

Weekly homework tasks and spelling topics, where appropriate, will be attached to the page below and organised by dates. Please refer to these if children are missing elements of their homework.
