I would like you all to have a great Easter break with your families.
You have all coped so well with being back in school and have settled back in superbly.
I would like you to do a little reading and some numeracy to keep you thinking, over the two weeks. I have put a couple of reading assessments on here. The simpler one is from Comprehension Ninja and is an amalgamation of the types of questions you were working on during lockdown. The other one is a little more challenging for those of you who want to push yourselves a bit. I will include the answers for parents to use if they so wish.
In numeracy. after half term. we will be looking at length and perimeter. I would like you to practice measuring things using metres, centimetres and millimetres.
See you all in a couple of weeks
I hope that you all are having a good half term. I am making the most of having some time to relax, finding time to watch films, walk and play games with my family.
When we return to school on Monday 22nd February we know we have two more weeks of home learning. Hopefully it won't be much longer than that before we are all back in class together.
From Monday we will begin having a teams session every day at 9.45am for the children learning at home.
Take care and keep safe.
I have emailed you all the link to view the class book
'Amazing Animals' that I have put together. I hope you like it.
If your pages are now finished and ready to be added, please share them with me and I will include them.

We've now been back in school for a few weeks and things are gradually beginning to feel like the 'new' normal.
The children have settled really well into Year 3 and are taking all the differences in their stride. All the new routines are starting to feel a little more comfortable.
I have uploaded the 'Class Expectations' PowerPoint that we would usually share at a parent meeting on the Class 3 page. Please have a look through it, as it may answer some questions you have about Key Stage 2.
However, please contact the office if you have any concerns or queries and I will get back to you as soon as I can.
I am enjoying getting to know your children and look forward to working with you, over the next academic year, supporting your child on their educational journey.
Mrs L Anderson.
Hello Year 3!
I hope you have had a great summer holiday. I am looking forward to hearing all about the things you have been doing. I can't wait to get going on Thursday when you are all back in school.
You can see what our time table looks like below and have a look at the sort of topics we will be tackling this year.
If you have any questions or worries please contact me through the office and we will sort them out together.
I am looking forward to working with you all as you begin your journey through Key Stage 2.
See you soon
