Hello Year 4,

I have not updated my blog in a little while as unfortunately I have been suffering with terrible toothache, so most of last week I was in too much pain to do too much. I have not been able to see a dentist due to restrictions put in place to keep us all safe during lockdown but I am hopeful it won’t be too long before a dentist can help me. Luckily I managed to get some pain-killers which have meant I can get back to normal a bit more this week. This week it has been my turn to be in school looking after the children who have been unable to stay at home. It has been nice to be back in school seeing some familiar faces.

I hope you all had an enjoyable (safe) VE Day celebration last weekend. I made some gluten free scones and decorated the window in my front room. I really enjoyed hearing the Queen’s speech and singing ‘We’ll meet again’.  I also played a game of scrabble with Sybil…I won! I have been enjoying having a bit more time to cook, my favourite thing I have made this week is a gluten free calzone pizza. It was a bit messy to make (and quite large) but tasted yummy!

I hope you are all safe and well. Miss Waldron smiley

Easter fortnight – 06.04.20 – 19.04.20

Hi Year 4

I hope you have had a Happy Easter time!

I am missing you all, I hope that you are all keeping safe and well.

Over the Easter fortnight I wasn't needed at school so I have spent lots of time with Sybil and enjoyed the beautiful weather. It was a strange Easter as I was not able to see any of my family due to the lockdown. I am missing them but we managed to have a family video call, which was nice. I don't have much of a garden (sadly) but I'm very lucky to have lots of lovely walks I can do with Sybil. I have also had time to bake which is one of my favourite things to do, for Easter I baked a carrot cake. I will post a couple of photos to show you.

I look forward to seeing you all soon. Stay safe and remember to just try your best with school work. It can be very hard to find motivation when we are out of a regular routine but it is good to keep your brain active.

Love Miss Waldron and Sybil

Hello Year 4,

I hope you are all keeping well and making the most of this strange situation we find ourselves in!

I thought I would post a quick update to say hello and show you some pictures of Sybil as it is her second birthday today (31st March) and I know many of you enjoy hearing about her.

Stay safe.

Love Miss Waldron
