Blakedown C E Primary School has always been an important focal point of village life and shares close links with the church. The school offers a warm and friendly environment for both children and their parents and it fosters a caring atmosphere for all who attend or visit the school.

We value standards and achievement and our aim is to provide the best education we can for all our children so that they enjoy their early years of schooling. The children are supported well in their learning by dedicated staff, governors and parents. Together we hope to provide the children with a firm foundation for the future.
