Our Class News

Hello Class 4 Pupils and Parents!

We have dived straight into our second half-term and are already enjoying our new topic 'Extreme Climates'. During Autumn 2 we will focus on non-fiction writing, and this will be based around our text 'Why the Whales Came' by Michael Morpurgo and our Geography focus of Norway.

Please use our class website to keep up to date with different trips and activities that are on offer; any homework set or due; any notices or reminders; and general documents such as: class timetables, spelling lists, links to helpful websites and any other information you may need.

There is a new section on our Class page called 'Extra Curricular' for extra resources and ideas to support your children (even further) outside of school if you wish to!

If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me.

Class 4 Reminders

Please do not forget to have with you the following items on the correct days of the week!

  • PE Kits should be in school from Monday mornings for PE throughout the week. Please can you ensure children have appropriate kit for outdoor PE.
  • Homework to be handed in on Wednesdays and then handed back out on Friday.
  • Spelling lists are to be taken home on a Friday ready to be tested on a Monday.
  • Zoneboard cards, reading records and spelling books should be in school on a daily basis and signed on a weekly basis.

*It is important that the children become responsible for their own equipment and take it upon themselves to ensure that they have the right things in school on the right days. There will be suitable consequences for those who continue to fail to ensure the above is followed as this isn't fair for those who consistently follow the expectations.*
