Encourage all the children to be reflective learners.
Give the children the skills to be resilient and challenge themselves.
Develop further independence.
Link learning activities to 'real life'.
Most importantly ...... have fun learning in a safe and nurturing environment.
We hope you all have a lovely half term holiday!
Half term Homework.
We have not set any formal homework for this half term holiday.
However we have asked the children to continue practising their 2,5 and 10 times tables, along with the spellings each of them received in a personalised spelling list. We would also like them to read a range of texts including the reading book we have sent home. Finally the children could practise their handwriting using the kinetic letter sheets we sent home.
Telling the time.
One of our topics in maths last half term was telling the time to the nearest 5 minutes including quarter to and quarter past the hour. Practising this skill at home with you will support the children's learning in school and ensure that the children are accurately telling the time.
Remember to check the 'Homework' tab below each week for a brief outline of your child's home learning task.
Class 2 Reminders
