All children in Reception will be taking part in Forest School sessions this term. They should come to school wearing their Forest School clothes and school shoes/trainers with their wellington boots or walking boots in a bag to get changed into for the afternoon session. (We will then keep their wellington boots in school ready for future sessions.)

Please see the list below for suitable clothing (all clothing and footwear should be labelled with your child’s name) -

• Wellington boots or walking boots
• Waterproof coat (and trousers in wet conditions)
• Long sleeved top to protect arms and suitable trousers/jeans (not shorts)
• In cold conditions, hat and gloves
• Lots of thin layers are best it is easy to take off a layer if we are warm but difficult to warm up if we don’t have enough layers.

Please only send the children in clothes you don’t mind getting mucky!

Additionally, please send children in clothes suitable to the weather conditions. WE WILL ALWAYS GO OUT TO FOREST SCHOOL.
